Rusty Nail Comedy was officially founded by comedian Alex (Sandy) MacFarlane in 2016. After years of doing comedy shows all over Waterloo region, he decided to make it a business.
Rusty Nail Comedy has performed in venues all over Waterloo region and Southern Ontario. In 2020 (if you can believe it!) Alex approached The Crazy Canuck in downtown Kitchener about doing comedy outside on their patio. First show was August 6th 2020... and the rest is history. Rusty Nail has grown to be Waterloo Regions premier comedy provider and a real player on the National comedy scene. We perform all over Ontario from Windsor to Peterborough Rusty Nail will bring the laughs.
Our goal is to provide the best comedy experience for our guests, comics and staff. We are community and small business focused. Our fans & the residents of Waterloo Region are part of our story, a story that has just started.
Now we have 5 shows a week, a comedyfest every September and the best comics in Canada asking to perform at Rusty Nail Comedy. Come be a part of something & see what all the hype is about.
